SPK Housing Withdrawal


A member must have reach 40 years old to be eligible to withdraw for SPK Housing Withdrawal. Members are allowed to withdraw ONCE only from 40-59 years old hence Member is encouraged to plan when is the best time to withdraw for your housing purpose.


When withdrawing for SPK Housing Withdrawal, Member must be informed on the following:


  • The withdrawal is solely for purchasing a house, building a house, repayment of house loan, renovation or repairing a house.


  • The withdrawal for the housing work will be paid directly to the contractor, developer, bank or Government via direct transfer - no cash or cheque payment.


  • Complete documentations are submitted to ease withdrawal process.

50% of the Member Account balance during application

Paid in lump sum to the relevant party

 for building, renovating or repairing a house

for purchasing a house

to Treasury Department or National Housing Scheme

Ensure the documents required are complete before proceed to submission.

Home Repairs & Renovation

  1. Copy of Member's Identity Card.

  2. Copy of Contractor or Developer's bank statement/details.

  3. TAP renovation agreement template (available below) 

  4. Copy of Contractor or Developer's License 16 & 17. 

  5. Copy of Contractor or Developer's Identity Card.


Payment Balance (National Housing Scheme)

  1. Copy of Member's Identity Card.

  2. Letter of Housing Balance Confirmation.

  3. Copy of Letter of Confirmation of owning a home.


Payment Balance (Housing Loan - Treasury Department)

  1. Copy of Member's Identity Card.

  2. Copy of the Construction Agreement or Sale and Purchase Agreement.

  3. Copy of Land Grant.

  4. Copy of Housing Loan Agreement.

  5. Copy of the latest Loan Balance Statement.


Building a House (On Land)

  1. Copy of Member's Identity Card.

  2. Copy of Contractor or Developer's bank statement.

  3. Copy of the Construction Agreement.

  4. Copy of Loan Agreement.

  5. Copy of Contractor or Developer's License 16 & 17.

  6. Copy of Land Grant or House Position Plan.

  7. Copy of Power of Attorney (If the land grant is not in the name of the applicant).


Buying a House (On Land)

  1. Copy of Member's Identity Card.

  2. Copy of Contractor, Developer or Seller's bank statement.

  3. Copy of Land Grant.

  4. Copy of Sale and Purchase Agreement.

  5. Copy of Contractor or Developer's License 16 & 17.

  6. Copy of Loan Agreement.

  7. Copy of Power of Attorney (If the land grant is not in the name of the applicant).


Buying a House (Kampong Ayer)

  1. Copy of Member's Identity Card.

  2. Copy of the Seller's bank statement.

  3. Copy of Sale and Purchase Agreement Letter.

  4. Copy of Letter of Confirmation of Change of Home.

  5. Copy of the House Position Plan from the Brunei and Muara Districts.


Note: For houses that are not in the Member's name, Members are required to provide additional documents to confirm (relationship) that the house is owned by the immediate family such as spouse, parents, parent-in-law, child, siblings or grandparents.
